Welcome to Twin Cities School of Dance Since 1980, the Twin Cities School of Dance has enjoyed a rich tradition of providing quality performances and dance instruction for all ages. A primary focus is on classical ballet technique, which provides a strong foundation for all other dance Our goal for the dancer is to gain self-confidence through the physical and mental accomplishments that come from positive dance instruction. The professional background of the artistic directors provides the more serious student with the knowledge and training necessary to prepare for a career in dance. Twin Cities School of Dance and the Twin Cities Ballet have performed the Nutcracker for 27 years. The performances have included students from the community and the ballet company. Many professional artists from all over the world have contributed to the performances. In the spring, an additional We strive for excellence in the areas of dance preparation by recruiting a highly qualified and experienced instructional staff. Several Twin Cities students have pursued attendance at high schools for performing arts, received dance scholarships from various colleges and universities and continued on to pursue professional performance opportunities.
