Dear Parents and Students,
I hope everyone had a great spring break.
Welcome back to the last few weeks of dance before recital and our spring ballet.
Cinderella is May 9th at 7 PM and "Dancing through the Years" is May 10th at 2:00 PM.
Don't forget to purchase tickets as soon as possible. Rumors tell us that tickets are
selling fast. The tickets are on sale at the BCPA box office at 110 East Mulberry in
Bloomington, phone 309-434-2777, or at www.artsblooming.org. All tickets
include a 50 cent restoration fee, which may increase May 1st and will raise the
cost of your tickets. If tickets are bought online, they are subject to additional
handling charges, so it is best to purchase the tickets at the box office. All
children and adults will need to purchase a ticket, unless under the age of 4 and
sitting on your lap. If you want a seat for your child, you will need to purchase a
ticket. The price for recital tickets is $15 per ticket and Cinderella is $20. Any
dancer who is sitting in the audience will need to purchase a ticket.
The Parents' Guild is hosting a Cinderella Tea fundraiser on April 13th at 3:30 PM at
the Bloomington Country Club. See our website or visit the front desk for more information.
Tickets are on sale now at the studio or at parentsguild.tcbdance.com. Please support the
school and enjoy this special event.
Please keep an eye out for some make up classes scheduled for the week of April 28-May 2.
We will try to follow normal scheduled times and days. Byron will need to have both levels
come for 2 hours on Monday. Another option is for your student to come on Thursday at
7:30 or 8:30. Lisa's students will make up classes on April 28 and 29th.
Pictures for all students in recital and ballet will be taken on May 5th and 6th. A schedule
will be posted when the date is closer. The pictures will be taken at the studio; and Greg
Linder will also be taking stage shots during both shows.
Costumes are arriving every day and will be handed out in a few weeks. All tuition and fees
must be paid before any costumes will be released. A rehearsal schedule will be given out in
a few weeks. This year we will be practicing recital on Wed 4-6:30 and Thursday 4-6:30 and
then on Saturday we will run the show in the morning. We hope this will refresh your child
and make for a better and more professional recital. We also hope this will give more practice
on the stage before the show.
Cinderella rehearsal will be May 5th and 6th at the studio; and May 7th and 8th 7-9 PM at BCPA.
The summer schedule is complete and we will start taking summer registration now.

T-shirts and shorts will go on sale this week for recital and Cinderella.
