Performance Class Packet for 2010-11

Performance Class

Learn how to get noticed! This class is designed for the dancer who wants to stand out in a group. Performance class is for those who have that pizzazz or those who want it. Some students may be asked to choreograph dances to perform.

The Performance Class was originated by Artistic Director Lisa Henry in 2007. The class allows students to learn to choreograph their own dances, learn performance skills, and have opportunities to perform several times each year. In 2009, a second level of the Performance Class was added to enable the development of a group that can travel to compete in solo, duet, and group competitions.

Students registered for Performance Class must also be registered for a dance technique class.
